Safari 4 Benchmarks

I still have a few friends & acquaintances left who insist on using IE even though I scold them on it every time they ask me for tech help. Here’s my new favorite chart to show them, from CNET:
By the way, if you want the speed of Safari 4 without the sketchy new interface, just download WebKit. I’ve been using WebKit in place of Safari for several months now & it’s great. I mostly just ignore the prompts for the nightly builds until I need to restart Safari anyway. It’s possible a terrible bug will creep into one of the nightlies, but it’s easy to just revert to a previous build or wait a day and get the next build.
